The 'Petrucci' of Podere Forte, cru 'Anfiteatro', is the sunniest of the Sangiovese from the Val d'Orcia estate, located at high altitude and strongly ventilated. It is indeed surprisingly dynamic, with intense and well-ripened fruit. It undergoes aging in French oak barrels for 18 - 20 months, followed by bottle aging for 3 years. A regal aromatic weave with a spicy aftertaste and fine underbrush notes give the wine great elegance. Silky and smooth overall, with very sweet tannins and a slight salty touch in the rich finish. It is an enveloping Sangiovese that continues to reveal itself with each sip.

Podere Forte

In the heart of Tuscany, where the hills of Val d'Orcia merge into a landscape that seems to have come out of a Renaissance painting, stands the Podere Forte. This winery is the result of the vision of Pasquale Forte, an entrepreneur who has managed to transform his passion for wine into a project of excellence. Here, among the sinuous lines of the vineyards and the sweetness of the territory, a concept of viticulture takes shape that embraces luxury and innovation while remaining deeply respectful of nature.
The Podere Forte is located in one of the most picturesque regions of Tuscany, where the climate and soil give unique characteristics to the grape varieties. The DOC Orcia and IGT Toscana designations are the stage on which the main protagonists of this winery perform: Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, and Merlot, varieties that find their ideal habitat here. The production philosophy of the Podere Forte is based on regenerative agriculture, an approach aimed at improving soil health and preserving the natural ecosystem, while ensuring uncompromising quality.
Under the expert guidance of Pasquale Forte, the winery has created wines of rare elegance and complexity, capable of enchanting even the most discerning palates. Among the main labels, the Guardiavigna and the Petrucci stand out. The Guardiavigna is a wine that expresses strength and harmony, with its intense aromas and bold taste, while the Petrucci captivates with its lively personality and hints of red fruit and spices. Each bottle is the result of meticulous attention to detail, from the vineyard to the winery, to offer a tasting experience that tells the story and passion of the Podere Forte.
Let yourself be seduced by the wines of the Podere Forte, available on Vino45. Discover a collection that encapsulates the essence of Tuscany, a journey through luxury, nature, and the art of winemaking at its finest.

THE WINE
The 'Petrucci' of Podere Forte, cru 'Anfiteatro', is the sunniest of the Sangiovese from the Val d'Orcia estate, located at high altitude and highly ventilated. It indeed shows a surprising dynamism, with intense and well-ripened fruit. It undergoes aging in French oak barrels for 18 - 20 months, with bottle aging for 3 years. A regal aromatic interplay with a spicy aftertaste and fine underbrush notes give the wine great elegance. Silky and smooth overall, with very sweet tannins and a slight salty edge in the rich finish. It is an enveloping Sangiovese that continues to reveal itself with each sip.
THE ESTATE

The philosophy followed and applied by Pasquale Forte is based on the anthroposophical teachings of Rudolf Steiner, founded on universal principles such as correctness and respect. Biodynamic agriculture is a way of being, observing, and working the land. The goal is not to let the land do its own thing, but to help it. The three principles of biodynamics are: maintaining soil fertility; making plants healthy so they can resist diseases and pests; producing quality food for human health. Since 1997, Podere Forte has embraced these simple yet decisive rules. Ancient and modern. Traditional and forward-looking. Governed by a perfect and self-sufficient ecosystem capable not only of preserving the existing but also improving it. A Podere that pursues perfection and quality with full and total respect for the environment. The scientific and meticulous analysis of the soils, animal husbandry, the self-production of compost, the architectural integration of the winery, and the use of the most advanced technologies, all done with utmost respect for the environment.
