The Corton Grand Cru 'Les Renardes' from Domaine Etienne Delarche is produced in the Côte d'Or, in Aloxe-Corton, one of the most renowned villages in Burgundy. 100% Pinot Noir from 40-year-old vineyards located at an altitude of 250-300 meters on clay-limestone soil, which impart richness and aromatic complexity to the grapes, along with a fine and elegant structure. Traditional vinification and aging in oak barrels (30% new) for 12 months before bottling. An elegant and complex wine, with notes of red berries such as cherry, blueberries, and currants, floral notes of violet and walnut, light balsamic notes, and spicy notes. With a fresh and intense flavor, soft and elegant tannins, excellent minerality and persistence, perfectly balanced.

THE COMPANY

Etienne Delarche manages a family estate of 9 hectares in the municipalities of Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton. It was Marius, the grandfather, who took over the vineyards from his wife Jeanne in the 1950s. Then, in 1987, the son Philippe revitalized the estate by planting new parcels and building a winery complex on 3 levels. It was after his death in 2008 that Etienne took over management. In 2016, the Domaine wanted to expand the range of wines offered by creating a trading company. After purchasing the grapes at harvest time, Etienne vinifies them like the vintages of the Domaine to provide you with equal pleasure.
