Fortified Wines

The liqueur or fortified wines are those wines produced using a base wine (with an alcohol content of not less than 12%) with added mistella (must which has been stopped fermentation by adding alcohol), alcohol, wine brandy or concentrated must (partially dehydrated), in order to increase its alcohol content.
