Single Malt represents the most traditional and full-bodied type of Scotch. Made from barley malt only, produced entirely in a single distillery. Usually they come from a selection of spirits aged in oak barrels between 8 and 25 years, with the obligation to report on the label the indication of aging of the youngest distillate used in the blending phase. They can also be produced outside Scotland, acquiring more or less peaty scents depending on local traditions.
