Champagne Orpale Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut Vintage 2008 (Magnum 1,5 L deluxe gift box) De Saint Gall
De Saint Gall's iconic champagne, the 'Orpale' cuvée is made exclusively of Chardonnay from four villages in the Côte des Blancs classified as 'Grand Cru': Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant, Avize and Oger. The 2008 vintage is dressed in a sober, elegant and environmentally friendly box. A complex and elegant blanc de blancs. It rests on the lees for about 144 months before disgorging. A brilliant golden wine with a fine perlage that opens on notes of citrus, candied lemon and yellow fruits and then evolves into smoky notes of white tobacco and toasted nuts. Fresh and persistent, it is a Champagne capable of staying etched in the memory. Naturally it will have a special place on the table, served during aperitifs or gourmet dishes.
