Krug Rosé is an unexpected rosé Champagne, which combines elegance and boldness; is inspired by the dream of the fifth generation of the Maison Krug to create a rosé Champagne that did not exist before and that reinvented itself every year, revealing a new face. The 27th Edition is an assembly of 38 wines from 9 different vintages, the youngest of which dates back to 2015 while the oldest to 2005. It is also composed of a further 10% of Pinot Noir of the vintage, traditionally macerated, coming from 'assemblage of plots of Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, which brings spicy notes, color and structure. The rest of approximately seven years in the Krug cellars gives the Krug Rosé 27th Edition a unique expression and elegance.

It all began in 1834, when the young Joseph Krug, a far-sighted nonconformist, who had just arrived in France from his native Germany, began working in the cellars of Jacquesson. An experience that in a few years will allow him to have a precise idea of Champagne, and that will lead him a little later, in 1843 exactly, to found a Maison of his own, in order to produce Champagne that were able to stand out without only for the most absolute quality, but also for a well-defined personality, always recognizable.
This is the story of a determined man like few others, guided by a philosophy that did not allow compromises, and who was the first to understand that the essence of Champagne is, first of all, pleasure itself. A person, Joseph Krug, who wanted to offer his customers maximum pleasure, every year, regardless of the climatic differences that each season and each harvest brought with them. The Krug style is immediately expressed thanks to careful aging in large oak barrels, and thanks to prolonged contact with the yeasts. A style that has been handed down from father to son for centuries, and which is still wonderfully unchanged today.
Since 1999, the Maison has been part of the LVMH luxury group, but the approach remains the same, that of the beginnings, unconventional, and aimed at enhancing the individuality of each single vineyard, in cuvée prestige that are renewed year after year, in the name of continuity.
And then, in addition to Krug Rosé and Millesimati, here is the Krug Brut "Grande Cuvée", to name what is the icon of the Maison, that is a Champagne that comes from 250 different vineyards, and which brings together 150 reserve wines, some of which are aged for up to 15 years. A meticulous savoir-faire, which leads to the creation of unique wines, unrepeatable Champagne, extraordinary cuvées.
