Champagne Brut 'Vieille Vigne' by J. Clement is made with 70% Pinot Meunier and 30% Pinot Noir on the estate located in the municipality of Reuis, in the Marne Valley. The vines are 40 years old and the harvest takes place in mid-September where the whole bunches are harvested manually. Soft pressing, cold decantation and use of selected yeasts. Aging on yeasts for 7 years before disgorgement. It presents a bouquet of notes of ripe fruit such as peach, pear and quince, buttery and brioches notes, on the finish light toasted and spicy notes with a pleasant oxidative note. On the palate it is fresh and structured, fruity and slightly floral, with spicy hints and delicate oxidative notes on the finish. Elegant and complex, with excellent persistence.

J. Clement maison is a family business, small and capable of producing high quality wines. Founded in the 1950s by Martial Clement, he was succeeded by James Clement, his son, who began working alongside his father in the vineyard and in the cellar from the age of 14. Today the fate of the small maison is entrusted to Cécile and Fabien who have the task of developing the international market. Today J. Clement can count on 9.5 hectares of vineyards (Chardonnay 20%, Pinot Noir 25%, Pinot Meunier 55%), divided into 36 parcels in 4 different villages or crus.
