Champagne Grand Brut Rosé by Château de Bligny is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 15% red wine from the Champagne Appellation. Château de Bligny is the only one to benefit from the title of Château in the Champagne region as a wine producer. A 30-hectare estate where the vines are spread over 8 plots including a Clos that sees all seven traditional varieties of the region grown within it. It ages for 4 years on the lees. It is characterized by the subtle explosion of flavors of wild strawberries, wild raspberries, redcurrants and a sparkle of blood orange. Lively mouth with a fixed trajectory, the root finish evokes juicy red pepper.

The Rapeneau family, after the acquisition of the castle, decided in 2004 to plant a vineyard surrounded by walls, following the traditional idea of the "Clos". To create an all-round bond with the territory, it was decided to plant the six symbolic varieties of Champagne, the classic Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier and the “forgotten” vines: Arbanne, Pinot Bianco and Petit Meslier. If the three traditional cepages bring us back to familiar sensations, the other three grapes punctuate the cuvée with peculiar notes to say the least: Arbanne (formerly widespread in the Aube) gives aromas and freshness, Pinot Blanc gives brilliance and structure, lastly, the Petit Meslier indulges with lime and violet aromas. The Rapeneau family's desire is to highlight every single variety, confronting the art of blending, the keystone of the Champagne concept.
