Blanc de Blancs Brut by Perrot-Batteux sums up the style of the Maison: a decidedly fresh, pure and elegant wine. A pure Chardonnay cuvée from Premier Cru vines which, thanks to the addition of reserve wines (2 to 3 years) and ideal aging in the cellar for 3 to 4 years, give life to a balanced and fresh Champagne, with a natural low dosage. After disgorging, it is left to rest for a few weeks. This wine, with a lively and sustained foam, surprises with the delicacy of its mineral and floral scents. On the palate, the attack is fresh and persistent, with notes of citrus and a finish of biscuit and bread crust. Perfect as an aperitif and with delicate dishes such as seafood and grilled fish.

The story begins in 1985, when Maryline and Gervais Perrot bought the press from Jean Raulet, a winemaker in Bergères-les-Vertus. Running a vineyard processing and exploitation company, they decided in 1986 to market their harvest and that is how Champagne G. Perrot-Batteux was born. While Gervais runs his service business and grows the wines, Maryline works the vines and takes care of marketing the Champagne. Over the years, sales increased. But in 1999, the economic context favored selling the harvest by the kilo and to the great regret of its customers, Champagne G. Perrot-Batteux ceased its activity. From that moment on, Maryline and Gervais Perrot-Batteux have focused on enhancing their vineyard in the hope of being able to market them again. A decade to be reborn better. With this phrase, almost a symbol, since in 2009, Champagne G. Perrot-Batteux was reborn under the Champagne Perrot-Batteux & Filles brand.
