Gin 'Xibal' is the first gin produced in Guatemala and inspired by Mayan mythology. For its creation, botanicals originating from the Central American continent were used in order to obtain a fusion between the Guatemalan roots, the pre-Columbian Maya culture and the drinking trends of today. The label is inspired by Mayan mythology: Xibalba. Xibalba is an infra-kingdom, a legendary middle ground where Mayan gods challenged the terrains. Gin distilled 5 times in copper alembic and infused with the botanicals of laurel, lemon, black pepper, orange, pericòn, cardamom. Complex taste in which the balsamic notes of juniper are combined with the spicy profile of laurel and pimienta. In the sweet and citric finish the personality of pericon and cardamom emerges.
