Distiller's Cut Gin by Whitley Neill is a refined London Dry, with notes of dried orange and juniper. Soft intensity, where the juniper notes remain well present, but quickly followed by a sweet and sour scent of candied orange. The bouquet is enriched with a subtle floral note that lightens and balances the nose, making it complex but delicate. The earthy aroma of angelica root and the spices of coriander complete the olfactory picture, giving roundness and depth. On tasting, the sweet orange peel dominates the profile, but the juniper remains well present, acting as an aromatic pillar that supports and completes the flavor of the orange. The finish is long and persistent, balanced and harmonious. Ideal for refined tastings or high quality cocktails.

The cellar

Whitley Neill takes its name from John James Whitley, the first of the Whitley family to begin the art of distillation in 1762. Distilled in Birmingham, the traditional know-how that characterizes it allows it to confidently face the contemporary. Whitley Neill offers different releases that are inspired by travel, by countries far and near, by exotic and home flavors, fully embracing that glocal feeling so widespread today. The Premium London Dry Gin is inspired by the vivid beauty and mystery that surrounds Africa. Direct descendant of Greenall Whitley and the last in a long line of distillers, Johnny Neill wanted to create a gin to dedicate to his wife of African origins. A distillate capable of wonderfully harmonizing the precious African botanical essences in order to create an enigmatic taste-olfactory experience. The carefully selected botanicals, among which baobab and gooseberry stand out, are left to macerate in grain alcohol the night before distillation, carried out in small batches in an ancient copper pot still. The result is a typically smooth, light and citrusy gin, softer and rounder than traditional gins. It is a gin that comes directly from the black continent with all its wonderful exotic scents.
