Grappa 'Sassicaia' Tenuta San Guido by Jacopo Poli was born from the idea of making the most of the grapes that give life to one of the most famous and internationally awarded reds, creating a grappa capable of bringing, even in the world of distillates, the extraordinary quality of Sassicaia wine. The result is a bottle that contains the precious aromatic notes of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, prolonging their existence, a synthesis of the excellence of a terroir and of an ancient artisan know-how. The distillation takes place according to the strictest standards. It ages for 4 years in barrique and stays for 6 months in the barrels previously used for the refinement of Sassicaia. Distillate dedicated to connoisseurs and collectors.

Poli distillery is located in Schiavon, a small village which however houses a unique Grappa museum, thanks to the Polis. Venetians by certification since the fifteenth century, the Poli generations have always dedicated themselves to highly artisanal work: shepherds, hat makers, innkeepers and finally distillers. In 1898 they moved from a home-made production to a more structured one: the distillery is now one of the best known and most appreciated, a symbol of the Italian tradition of white grappa.
Poli firmly follows tradition, but it is a modern distillery due to the freshness and above all the speed with which it processes the pomace from the Dolomites to Venice. The artisan touch emerges by looking at the production techniques: the Gewürztraminer, Merlot and Moscato grapes are distilled in steam stills, in traditional bain-marie and in vacuum, depending on the style and label of the distillate produced. Poli grappas contain the soul of a terroir and a culture of all-Italian excellence.
