'Cladreris' Rosso by Sirch is made in the ancient hill village of the same name in Prepotto, in the Judrio valley, on the border with Slovenia. About 8 hectares of vineyards located within about 46 hectares of surrounding centuries-old woods. The wording 'Terre di confine' used on the label indicates a particular character of these wines produced on three borders: the DOC, the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and the country. Cladrecis wines are real crus with a strong territorial imprint. Late harvest when natural ripeness is reached. Passage in barriques. Vigorous but elegant and refined red. The Merlot gives it structure and length, while the Pignolo adds strength as well as polyphonic spicy tones. Ideal with white and red meats, cheeses and mountain cured meats.

Sirch is a winery that produces wines of great territorial character in the splendid natural scenery of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. It is a family business born in the mid-1950s, which from generation to generation has handed down the love for their land and the passion for viticulture. It has grown over time following the success of Friulian wines, which since the 1970s, after the creation of the Colli Orientali DOC, have attracted the attention of enthusiasts as one of the best national excellence. Today the winery manages a large property with an area of one hundred hectares, divided into different estates, which are located in the most suitable areas of the territory and continues to produce labels in the wake of ancient tradition, focusing on quality. The Colli Orentali area includes the hilly area in the province of Udine towards the Slovenian border. It is a territory that has always been suited for the cultivation of vines, by virtue of particularly favorable soil and climatic conditions. The chain of the Julian Alps protects the vineyards from the perturbations that descend from the north-east and the proximity of the Adriatic coast, makes the climate temperate and always breezy thanks to the gentle breezes. The lands are of ancient marine origin and consist of flysch or "ponca" in Friulian. Eocene marls formed by the sedimentation of limestone, silt, clay and sandstone, which give life to stony and brittle soils, very draining and rich in minerals. Sirch wines are a faithful mirror of the Colli Orientali terroir, a true synthesis of fruit maturity, elegance, freshness and longevity. The vineyards of the Sirch estate are grown in three different areas with particular characteristics. The vineyards of Cividale del Friuli are located near the winery, immersed in a wonderful hilly landscape. The main body of the property is located in Orsaria, in the municipal area of Primaticcio. Fifty hectares of terraced vineyards, which descend from the hilly area to the banks of the Natisone river. Finally, in the Cladrecis area, near Prepotto, not far from the Slovenian border, there is an estate of 12 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by 46 hectares of woods which guarantee a cool climate characterized by considerable temperature variations. The vines cultivated by Sirch are the classic ones of the Eastern Hills: the native Ribolla Gialla, Schioppettino, Pignolo and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and the international ones: Friulano, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Traminer, Pinot Nero and Merlot.
