Toscana Rosso 'Bertinga' by Bertinga is the flagship of the company. Supertuscan produced in less than 15,000 bottles that best represent the peculiarities of the territory of Gaiole in Chianti through a balanced and elegant blend (50% Sangiovese, 50% Merlot) that have made it famous all over the world. Manual harvesting of the bunches and separate vinification of the grapes. The refinement took place in Austrian oak tonneaux and French oak barriques for a period of about 18 months followed by at least as many months in the bottle. The result is a red with fascinating notes of red fruit and small black berry fruit, integrated with spices, undergrowth and mineral notes. Full-bodied and structured with a dense and important tannic texture. Very fresh and persistent finish.

Anatoly Korneev and Maxim Kashirin are known as the ambassadors of Italian wine in Russia, thanks to their import company, called Simple, which has been a leader in the sector for 25 years. In 2015, they realized their long-standing dream of becoming producers with the acquisition of three high-altitude vineyards in the surroundings of Gaiole in Chianti: La Porta di Vertine, Punta di Adine and Bertinga, the historic plot that also gave the name to their state-of-the-art cellar. Our ambassadors set out to create wines with a style that distinguishes them from the typical image of the Chianti Classico, to express what they describe as the unique nature of the territory: the single vineyard, a special plot, the cru. The result is four wines called Toscana IGT by choice and a recently introduced Chianti Classico.
