'Terra di Lavoro' by Galardi is a blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso, a wine of great structure and prestige, aged for 12 months in new oak barriques. For years it has obtained enthusiastic reviews from leading experts and the most authoritative international critics. Nationally, it has been ranked as the best Italian wine on several occasions. Wide aromatic spectrum ranging from red berry fruits to the balsamic notes of the resin with spicy peaks and a vegetal presence. The mineral note is inevitable and precise, followed by marked tannins. Very long persistence.

Azienda Agricola Galardi was born from a dream shared between five people. Maria Luisa Murena, Arturo Celentano, Roberto Selvaggi, Francesco and Dora Catello, in 1991, decided to give life to a new reality, capable of making the most of the many good fruits of their land. We are in Sessa Aurunca, on the slopes of Roccamonfina. Here, on volcanic soils and with the help of a great "winemaker" like Riccardo Cotarella, they begin their journey to discover the potential of Aglianico and Pedirosso, hitherto decidedly little appreciated by local producers. Following modern criteria of a reasoned viticulture, and thanks to a unique terroir of its kind, wines of the highest quality and strong character can be born here. Thus was born the mythical “Terre di Lavoro”, today considered one of the most interesting products of the noble Aglianico. A wine that, as world-famous wine critics have often written, has brought the Galardi winery to the elite of Italian red wine.

THE COMPANY
The commitment to transform the vineyard and the cellar practices, taken in 1991, produces its first fruit with the vintage of 1993.
The result has produced a wine that, despite the youth, already showed at the outset all the expressive potentialities of a great wine. 1994 marks the definitive birth of the "TERRA DI LAVORO (LAND OF WORK)".
THE PHILOSOPHY
The potential of the volcanic soil and the encounter with Riccardo Cotarella, an oenologist of great value and particularly sensitive to the recovery and valorisation of the wines of the South, led to the birth in 1993 of the Work Land, a product that was for everyone a ' Amazing surprise. From a close collaboration between the protagonists of this beautiful adventure, today has gone to an efficient and modern structure animated by the spirit of always.
THE CELLAR
With a careful mixture of Aglianico and Piedirosso, once called "Pere 'and Palummo", obtained from vineyards exposed to the southwest between four hundred and five hundred meters on the enchanting gulf of Gaeta, is realized the Land of Work, a wine Of large structure, appropriately aged in small oak barrels.
