'Duca Enrico' by Duca di Salaparuta, produced for the first time in 1984, is one of the symbolic wines of Italian and international enology. The first 100% Nero d'Avola in the history of Sicilian wines, this noble red, which comes only from a few carefully selected vineyards, is a wine with an aristocratic charm and an unmistakable style. Aging for 18 months in barrique allows the wine to evolve and be enriched with refined tertiary notes, which make the bouquet particularly complex, deep and persistent, with floral notes, aromas of cherry and small dark fruit, spicy hints. On the palate it is enveloping and deep, with soft tannins, a harmonious and very persistent finish. It is a prestigious label, to be tasted during a special evening.
