Lagrein by Gilfenstein is made from pure native grapes, Guyot on alluvial soils at a height of 300 meters above sea level, in Alto Adige. The result of careful and precise processing as in the style of this winery, this South Tyrolean red is aged for six months before being bottled. It has a deep and impenetrable red color with purple reflections. The bouquet is rich in aromas, ranging from a veil of licorice to vanilla pods and cloves, giving an excellent aromatic complexity. Black tea and blueberry give fragrance, and the soft and well-structured tannins persistence and longevity to this Lagrein.
