Hautes Cotes De Beaune Rouge by Domaine Claudine Gérard is a red, produced in the Côte d'Or region, in the village of Meloisey in Burgundy. Pure Pinot Noir, from vineyards located at an altitude of around 400 metres, the perfect location for the ripening of the grapes, thanks to a cool and ventilated climate. The grapes, harvested by hand, are then vinified using a traditional and sustainable method. It matures for approximately 12 months in second and third passage French oak barriques. An elegant and fresh wine, the nose reveals notes of red fruits such as raspberries, strawberries and berries. When tasted it presents light floral and vinous notes, with a light spiciness on the finish. The tannins are fine and soft and the wine guarantees excellent persistence and great balance.

Domaine Claudine Gérard is located in Meloisey, a delightful village nestled in a landscape typical of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. It was created by the parents of the current owners who have looked after it since 2001. A traditional Burgundy company, in the countryside all work is carried out with full respect for nature. The harvests are manual and the winemaking takes place following very classic techniques, respecting the training received from the father.
