Pinot Noir Hochreit by Juris is a red wine produced in Parndorf, north of Salzburg, Austria from 20-year-old vines located on plots of gravelly and sandy soil, high in iron and not chalky. The pure Pinot Noir is harvested by hand and follows a traditional fermentation in open oak barrels at around 28°C to favor optimal extraction. Refines in 225 liter French barrique. Fruity bouquet with hints of berries, raspberries and currants and candied mandarin peel. When tasted, it is fruity with hints of red berries, round, with excellent length. Annual production 1,000-1,500 bottles.

Juris winery is located in the historic center of Gols. The Stiegelmar family has been growing wine since 1571. Today Juris owns vineyards in the best locations in Gols. Over time, red wine has acquired an increasingly important share of production and now represents 80% of production. White wine and sweet wine are ideologically equally important, but represent only 20% of production. Gols is located on the north-eastern edge of Lake Neusiedl, in the warmest corner of Austria, with the most hours of sunshine. This lake is the dominant climatic factor in the region. The Juris vineyard currently includes 18 hectares of vineyards. The variety level includes 80% red varieties, 15% white varieties and 5% sweet varieties.
