Terra di Rosso by Galardi is the younger brother of the famous Terra di Lavoro. It comes from a pure processing of Piedirosso grapes, the excess part compared to that harvested for cutting the Terra di Lavoro, in excellent vintages. Volcanic soils and plants aged between 22 and 24 years, guarantee a super high quality. Harvest, manual, traditional vinification and aging in barrique for no less than 8 months. Rich bouquet, with fruity notes of cherry, currant, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, followed by hints of violet, geranium, lavender and Mediterranean scrub. Fresh flavor, but also soft and elegant. Pleasantly tannic and extremely fine.

Azienda Agricola Galardi was born from a dream shared between five people. Maria Luisa Murena, Arturo Celentano, Roberto Selvaggi, Francesco and Dora Catello, in 1991, decided to give life to a new reality, capable of making the most of the many good fruits of their land. We are in Sessa Aurunca, on the slopes of Roccamonfina. Here, on volcanic soils and with the help of a great "winemaker" like Riccardo Cotarella, they begin their journey to discover the potential of Aglianico and Pedirosso, hitherto decidedly little appreciated by local producers. Following modern criteria of a reasoned viticulture, and thanks to a unique terroir of its kind, wines of the highest quality and strong character can be born here. Thus was born the mythical “Terre di Lavoro”, today considered one of the most interesting products of the noble Aglianico. A wine that, as world-famous wine critics have often written, has brought the Galardi winery to the elite of Italian red wine.
