'Ego' by Bressan is the result of the experience, competence and knowledge of this winery. It is hand signed by the producer in every single bottle. Blend between the international Cabernet Franc and the native Schioppettino, it is obtained from pure grapes of the vine of the same name grown in Farra d'Isonzo from vines over 30 years old. Only a little copper and sulfur is used in the vineyard, the grapes are harvested slightly late in the harvest and taken to the cellar to carry out a slow fermentation in steel. It rests for at least three years in oak barrels and for 15 months in the bottle. Complex and unique bouquet, composed of scents of undergrowth, hints of pepper and moss, and references to truffles and aromatic wood. When tasted it is full, intense and velvety, rich and long.

Fulvio Bressan is a non-conformist Friulian winemaker who categorically rejects those passing and homogenizing fashions that the wine world is full of, proudly following a niche production vision, aimed at offering the truest wine event in the Isonzo area. The ancient winemaking roots of the Bressan family date back to the 18th century while the success in recent times is due to Fulvio L. Bressan, ninth generation of "master winemakers" and current owner, who had the merit of running the Farra d' winery Isonzo to definitive consecration on a global level. For the logo of the estate, the Bressans took up the family coat of arms, in which the ansata cross stands in the centre.
Within the approximately 20 hectares of vineyards owned, on land made up of layers of gravel lying on clay and sandstone marl, Fulvio Bressan breeds native and international varieties such as Friulano, Verduzzo, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, Schioppettino, Pignolo, Moscato Rosa, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The plants are grown according to truly sustainable and conscientious viticulture, which excludes the use of synthetic chemicals and involves the manual execution of agronomic operations, respecting the natural cycle of the vine. The harvest is carried out only when the grapes have reached full ripeness and is followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the musts in stainless steel tanks, in contact with the skins also for white grapes. The wine containers used for refinement include stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels of different capacities and types, where the wines remain to mature for a long time on the fine lees until bottling, which is carried out without any prior filtration.
The wines of the Bressan winery represent true jewels of Friulian artisan viticulture, endowed with an exemplary typicality resulting from a consolidated peasant culture. From orange wines to red wines, passing through the peculiar 'Rosantico', Fulvio Bressan's labels are configured as unique expressions that reflect the strong personality of their creator.
