'Giovanni Neri' is the new Rosso di Montalcino by Casanova di Neri dedicated to the founder of the company to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. A unique wine that, in keeping with the philosophy and style that are still the same today as fifty years ago, is the expression of a Sangiovese that comes from a vineyard that boasts a wonderful exposure, exceptional soil and 45-year-old vines. It ages 13 months in Tonneau. On the nose it presents notes of cherries, raspberries, currants and rose petals. On the palate it is savoury and balanced. The tannins are soft and very fine-grained, the finish is juicy and velvety.
