Rump@blic Sicilian Legacy is a rum with unique and distinctive aromatic notes. Born in Marsala in Sicily, where a rum originally from Barbados, distilled in Pot Still and aged for 3 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels, was selected to receive a unique refinement in the historic Florio cellars. Thus was born the perfect balance between the natural complexity of the Pot Still Barbados rum and the innate roundness of the refinement of at least six months in Marsala Florio barriques. Single batch aged for at least 6 months in semi-dry Marsala Florio barrels.

Founded in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio, the Cantine Florio of Marsala overlook the sea of western Sicily. Wrapped in the energy of the winds, made sapid by the sea, the Cellars welcome, beautiful and silent, the oak woods where the Marsala Florios refine in an apparently immobile movement. Hundreds of barrels, vats and caratelli, each with its own story, breathe the sea through the tuff floor, in the high naves where perfumes and architecture mix. In this wonderful place, where the Sicilian idea of beauty is distilled, the oenologist Tommaso Maggio, through the wise use of space, time and oxygen, creates Marsala in its many organoleptic forms.
