The Acquavite d'Uva 'Prime Sagrantino di Montefalco' harvest 2004 by Bonaventura Maschio is made from the Sagrantino di Montefalco grapes, a native vine with a strong character and limited production. The Acquavite d'Uva 'Prime Sagrantino di Montefalco' harvest 2004 by Bonaventura Maschio is an original distillate that is born in the Vigne Arnaldo Caprai di Montefalco, from the Sagrantino di Montefalco grapes, a native vine of marked character and limited production. After the harvest, the grapes are softly pressed and fermented in purity. Distillation follows in exclusive boule copper stills, operating under low temperature vacuum. The distillate obtained is then matured in small barrels, previously used by Sagrantino di Montefalco wine, which give it roundness, without however depriving it of the typical freshness of the original fruit. Each processing step is designed to best safeguard the primary aromas of particularly fine grapes. Full and spicy taste, with hints of cinnamon, vanilla and tobacco.
