Single Malt Scotch Whisky 'The Original' by 1770 Glasgow is one of the distillery's flagship products. At the base of this whiskey is a careful selection of the finest Scottish barley and the exceptionally pure water of Loch Katrine. The very high quality of the finished product starts from the raw material, which is then distilled in four pot stills, to which the distillery has given the name of Tara, Mhairi, Margaret and Frances. Once the substances have been extracted thanks to the use of these stills, which still work following the ancient craft traditions, we proceed to the aging phase, carried out for a few years in wooden barrels. Aromas of dried fruit and a pleasant taste of crème brûlé and honey.
