Bianco 'Pomice' is Tenuta di Castellaro's flagship white wine. Organic wine that expresses great aroma and elegance through a subtle and tasty brackish texture that makes it unique. An aroma that releases a great balance. It comes from a combination of two very different varieties, which marry perfectly and complement each other, enhanced by the volcanic soil of Lipari. The intoxicating aromas of Malvasia delle Lipari masterfully marry the fresh mineral caress of Carricante to create a taste where the concept of balance becomes the archetype of a complex Sicilian elegance.

Tenuta di Castellaro comes to life from a morning walk in the Castellaro plain in the summer of 2005, from which an ambitious project was born, still in an evolutionary phase today. Massimo Lentsch and Stefania Frattolillo, entrepreneurs from Bergamo, were guided by their love for the wonderful island of Lipari, to create a real work of art. The Tenuta di Castellaro winery is pure expression of the volcanic territory of the Aeolian Islands, magical and unspoiled places that have welcomed a dream, transforming it into a unique reality of its kind. The 2000 m² cellar built on the island of Lipari is in fact a monument dedicated to the landscape, art, architecture and technology, in full respect of nature, man and traditions.

THE WINE
Bianco 'Pomice' is Tenuta di Castellaro's flagship white wine. Organic wine that expresses great aroma and elegance through a subtle but perceptible and tasty brackish texture that makes it unique. An aroma that releases a great balance. It comes from a combination of two very different varieties, which marry perfectly and complement each other, enhanced by the volcanic soil of Lipari. The intoxicating aromas of Malvasia delle Lipari masterfully marry the fresh mineral caress of Carricante to create a taste where the concept of balance becomes the archetype of a complex Sicilian elegance. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand, the yeasts used are indigenous ones and the clarification takes place naturally, decanting the wine several times before bottling. Dry white wine, of great finesse and freshness, both on the nose and on the sip: citrus and wild flowers, with fruity and almond scents, enveloping and with a long and lasting flavor. It has sunshine and a marked brackish minerality among its deep roots.
