Roero Arneis 'Persté' by Marco Bonfante is a pure Arneis. Roero is a small region on the left bank of the Tanaro river, located opposite the Barbaresco production area. History attests that the Arneis vine finds its first mention in a document from 1478 preserved in the municipality of Canale. It is a white wine with a broad bouquet, of considerable finesse with notes of peach and apricot. When tasted, it has great structure and accentuated minerality, full-bodied, soft, fresh and tasty. The balance between mineral, alcohol and acidity is also excellent. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes perfectly with typical traditional Piedmontese appetizers and white meats. Highly recommended with both cooked and raw fish specialities.

Bonfante family has been producing wines in Nizza Monferrato (AT), Piedmont, for eight generations, in an area that represents the area of excellence for the production of Barbera d'Asti and which in 2014 obtained the "Nizza DOCG" denomination. It is a family-run business. The owner Marco Bonfante, graduated from the Oenology school of Alba, is an oenologist and deals with all-round production and company management. He is assisted by the oenologist consultant Gianluca Scaglione, the agronomist Daniele Eberle and his sister Micaela Bonfante who takes care of the administrative management and logistical organisation. The company offers an image of quality and seriousness, thanks to hard work, in Italy and especially abroad. A few harvests were enough for it to become a highly representative reality of this territory. In fact, the best grapes from other areas of the region are added to the Nizza Monferrato plants, which contribute to a rich and versatile range representative of the most prestigious denominations of southern Piedmont. The grapes produced come from managed vineyards and from selected vineyards, thanks to an intense and flourishing "nègoce" activity. All cultivation operations are followed by the company agronomist until harvesting. Thinning (also called green harvest) is carried out in the vineyard in order to reduce the production of the plant and improve the quality of the grapes.
