Roero Arneis by Malvirà is a young and cheerful wine, characterized by a refreshing and balanced drink. This wine comes from the pure use of the native vine of the same name, grown in various vineyards spread across clayey, calcareous and sandy soils. The grapes are grown according to organic farming principles, allowing us to have expressive and territorial bunches. It recalls refreshing sensations, in which aromas of fruit, flowers and wild herbs follow one another in a delicate balance of notes. When tasted it is light-bodied, slim and flowing, with a pleasantly fresh sip and an always harmonious drink. A Roero Arneis, natural and authentic, excellent for uncorking both at aperitif time and during more informal dinners.

The growth and success of Malvirà, a true wine reference point in the Roero, has gone hand in hand with that of the territory. The name derives from the dialect term with which the old farmhouse where the winery is located today was called. Competent and far-sighted, the brothers Massimo and Roberto Damonte, after inheriting the family winery in the 1970s, contributed to the valorization of the territory by producing good wines with a high territorial vocation. The two native Roero vines, Arneis and Nebbiolo, have thus reached high-level expressions, giving life to labels that are as elegant as they are complex, rich and fascinating in which all the great potential of the terroir materializes.
The strong point of the Malvirà winery, in addition to a family management that pays close attention to quality and elegance, is certainly that of an extraordinarily suited territory. By choosing to enhance each single cru, the Damonte brothers were thus able to make Malvirà an example to follow, dedicated to quality and the development of the territory. The vineyards are rooted in hilly clay and limestone soils between 200 and 300 meters above sea level and enjoy excellent exposures. The Trinità vineyard, which scenically surrounds the cellar, the Renesio vineyard, the Mombeltramo vineyard and many others, located in the municipality of Canale, have become famous among enthusiasts: splendid crus cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. The link with the history and traditions of Roero is underlined by the graphic choice of the labels which incorporates the coat of arms of the wheel of the Roero Counts combined with the images of the tarot cards.
Malvirà has established itself in the Piedmontese wine scene for high-level labels, reds capable of excellent evolution and suitable for long aging and elegant, fresh, balanced and complex whites. You can see and feel the result in the glass: wines that have a strong territorial imprint, among the best and most authentic representatives of Roero.
