'Fiore di Campo Gold' by Lis Neris is a cuvée of Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, a soft, fresh and fragrant white wine with an expressive and floral character. Organic cultivation and slow maturation on vines over 30 years old, manual harvest with careful selection of the bunches and fermentation in steel tanks on the fine sediment for 11 months and a further 11 months of maturation. Aged in bottle for at least 12 months. It is a wine that fully expresses its terroir, also through delicate vinification in steel, very respectful of the excellent quality raw material. Delicate notes of wild flowers, citrus aromas, white-fleshed fruit, snuff peach, notes of medicinal herbs and hints of almond. On the palate it is harmonious, with a rich and juicy fruit, well balanced by a savoury vein and a finish of lively freshness. Perfect with fish-based dishes.

The first Italian town to greet the river Isonzo as it meanders its way out of Slovenia is Gorizia, historically Europe’s most contended border settlement. Flowing south, the river crosses enchanting countryside dotted with tiny villages nestling around their bell towers and vineyards where the spirit of the place beats time with the rhythms of daily life .
It is here that, since 1879, four generations of my family have worked passionately to help create and develop one of Friuli’s most representative wine estates. 1981 was the turning point in the history of the winery. That was the year we introduced a new approach to production aimed at up-grading quality.
White wines proved to be the best expression of our “terroir” and they became the focus of our mission. Our aim today is to produce wines of increasingly high quality and our role is to create the conditions to let this happen. We hope that in tasting and offering these wines you will feel the same delight that we feel in producing them.
