Pouilly Fuissé 'Clos du Pavillon' by Regnard is a Chardonnay of great finesse, complexity and charm. Fresh and mineral white wine produced in the historic Clos du Pavillon in the Mâconnais area, southern Burgundy. Obtained from pure Chardonnay grapes from vineyards that rest on soils of marine origin. Manual harvest, gentle pressing to obtain the free-run must, fermentation in stainless steel containers for a few weeks. Transferred to French oak barriques and aged for at least a year. Intense aromas of ripe yellow fruit and citrus, including peach and cedar, floral notes of yellow flowers and cut grass, ending with sweet hints of acacia honey. Lively, vibrant and balanced taste, characterized by a great minerality that gives freshness to the sip making it extremely pleasant. Perfect with fish dishes.

Regnard is one of the oldest and most renowned maisons in Burgundy. It was founded by Zephir Regnard in 1860 and in 1984 it passed into the hands of the De Ladoucette family, who have preserved and, at the same time, improved the style and typicality of the wines produced. The property includes several plots in the Maconnais region, the southernmost area of Burgundy, from which the winery obtains wines of great complexity, but it is known throughout the world above all for the production of great Chablis. The maison also produces wines under the Pouilly Fussé denomination, in whose territory the main operational center of the winery is located, still rooted in the historic Clos du Pavillon, whose premises date back to the 18th century. With the change of ownership to Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, the Regnard winery has seen a major recovery and restructuring process. For Maison Regnard, every activity in the vineyard is aimed at respecting the surrounding environment and the vines are grown with great care, in order to obtain rich and valuable grapes. In the cellar, modern technologies and innovative processes are used, without ever losing sight of the ancient traditions of the territory and always respecting the consolidated style of the cellar. Regnard wines are processed for individual crus, enhancing every minimal organoleptic nuance, and undergo long refinements in wood. In this way, the cellar obtains wines of great elegance and extraordinary aromatic complexity, wines that are known throughout the world.
